welcome speech
First of all we want to say hi to everybody who is visiting our blog. It is an English class project.
As we are talking about democracy we had to choose a person which had done something important for it and create a blog or facebook about them, in fact like if we were them.
We started thinking about names and well, we wanted to talk about someone who wasn't that much known. A name that came to our mind was Harvey Milk, both of us knew him when we saw the movie that recently was released about his life. He was gay, and he fought for his rights. Democracy is just about equality and right to make our own choices, we all should be respected and not punished because of what we are.
We are looking forward to know this man's life better, and to transmit to all of you his message.
